History

The antecedents of this firm commenced in Bankstown during 1948. During the late 1990s the firm moved to Oatley West, and have recently moved to a new office space in Caringbah. The firm has achieved significant growth and success over this time. A large number of clients have been with the firm for decades and have grown substantially with us. We are very proud to have such a close involvement with clients and their successful track records.

Who are we?

A large portion of our firm’s clients are substantial high wealth organisations and individuals. To this end we deal with some very astute business people, and we also work with other accountants and specialist commercial lawyers in the city. To be able to attend to this work, considerable knowledge, experience, motivation and the right attitude is needed. This together with use being a small firm enables us to offer a more personal service. At present the firm currently has three staff in the office, making confidentiality much easier to maintain.

Our standard of work

Our firm always strives for the best outcomes and believe our clients deserve a great standard of work. Our policy is that where possible, our work is attended to on a first come, first served basis. However, where a matter arises that needs urgent attention we will always endeavour to accommodate our clients with such circumstances. Our work flow is very efficient and fast, and last year our firm achieved a tax agent lodgement rate of 92% from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), with the remaining 8% being of no fault of our own. Our result is well above the ATO desired rate of 85% and also above the industry rate of 83%. Our performance over the years has consistently been well above the industry average accounting firm.

Auditing

With respect to auditing, we believe they are beneficial in creating and maintaining confidence into your business. Financial statement audits provide assurance over the information that is used by the investors or the users of that information. We take this role seriously and if we discover any serious breaches of compliance, we will notify the appropriate authorities if needed. However, we will always endeavour to assist our client’s in doing so to ensure compliance before such an action is needed.

Who we cater for

In terms of clients we accept, size does not matter. We accept small and large clients of all entities whether they be individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds. Our firm is a Registered Company Auditor so we can accept companies of all sizes, whether it be a small private proprietary company or a large public reportable company. It is our objective to ensure client’s affairs is managed in a compliant and tax-effective manner.

We work with clients from across multiple sectors including real estate, lawyers, musician, entertainment, engineers, retirees, motor vehicle dealerships, registered clubs, not-for-profit entities, aged care, schools, churches, community organisations, media, catering and retail services, to name a few.
